Boat damage after storage: identifying the condition described by each record
Suppose hull damage and signs of water ingress are found after a boat returns from storage. The owner attributes them to storage, but the handover record is general and some photographs were taken after restoration.
If water appears inside a vessel after hull repairs, the repaired areas and the recorded water entry first need to be identified. A wet trace near a repair does not by itself establish causation. Pre-repair condition, actual interventions, acceptance records and later events all matter.
